What is Conscious Parenting.
Conscious Parenting is a parent-focused, connection-based parenting philosophy. It is underpinned by mindfulness and emotional intelligence and focuses on awareness and connectedness.
Conscious parents view their children as independent, whole beings who don’t need ‘fixing’. Conscious parents learn to regulate their own emotions, behaviours, thoughts and feelings through meditation and mindfulness practices to tune in and authentically connect with their child.
Conscious parenting leads with love and compassion, and fosters mutual respect, authentic connections and improved communication. When integrated, it will shift your whole relationship with parenting, yourself and others.
“I too struggle with feeling angry and wanting to control as a parent, but conscious parenting dramatically changed my life and helped me rewire my approach to parenting.”
